Cooking with Tvorog Cheese


There are many ways your can incorporate Dairy Fairy Tvorog Cheese into your daily nutrition and meal planning. Below are a few suggestions on how to use Tvorog European traditional cheese.

1. This cheese is great on its own or with a dash of sour cream, jam or yogurt on top for a sweater flavor option.  

2. Because of it's soft cheese nature, this cheese is great to spread on toast or crackers and top with your favorite vegetables such as tomato, chives, olives, cucumber, peppers or celery.  This can serve as a delicious healthy lunch or as a new appetizer idea! 








3. Use Tvorog Cheese to make delicious Pancakes:


  • 500 grams of Tvorog 
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar                                            
  • Pinch of salt
  • Half a cup of raisins or any type of dried fruit
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla (optional)


  • Mix all of the above listed ingredients
  • In a lightly buttered pan, fry thin, 5 inch x 5 inch (approx) pancakes until lightly browned
  • Place a small amount of Tvorog cheese on top of each pancake, roll and serve!


4. Use Tvorog Cheese to make scrumptious Sirniki:


  • 500 grams of Tvorog Original 
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • Pinch of salt


  • Mix all of the above ingredients. The dough should not be too dense. You can add raisins, vanilla, apple slices for additional flavor.
  • Take a small amount of dough and roll into a ball.
  • Roll each ball lightly in flour and fry in oil.
  • Serve with sour cream, jam, chocolate or yogurt.
